Hua!
March 17th, 2008I would like to extend an invitation to all of you to the Student Government meeting being held on Tuesday, March 18th in the annex at the high school beginning at 2:30pm and running until all topics are covered. Invitations have been extended to the entire student body, all teachers, administration, and community members. The current goal of the school is to be granted a re-vote. The purpose of this meeting is to find effective ways to encourage voters of the district to vote in our favor if granted said re-vote. The attendance of School Board members at this meeting would be greatly appreciated by myself, other members of the Student Government, and the rest of the student body. We would greatly value your input on the topics being discussed.
Thank you and I hope to see you at the meeting.
Sincerely,
Student Government President
That is what we need more of, and that is what is going to save our schools. If we can do our part to support them, to give them the aid they need and let them know where to go, this will work.
Kudos! I know I’ll be there—along with a bunch of MC2 students who want to help. But what we really need, more than anything else, are members of the public. We need mom and dad to show up at the school as well.
We can change things if we’re on the same page.
